Complete Loft Renovation & En-Suite Upgrade

This project renovated a loft in Harrow, London, that had already been converted. It was not a new loft conversion: the work brought the existing loft room up to a much higher standard.

We removed the old plasterboard and ceiling finishes where required, improved the insulation, and then re-boarded and finished the walls and ceilings. New floorboards gave a solid base for the new carpet, and a cupboard was opened up to make its storage far more useful.

In the en-suite we fitted a new shower tray and a sliding shower door about twice the width of the old one, making the shower much more comfortable to use.

The single central ceiling light was replaced with recessed spotlights, and instead of conventional coving the ceilings were finished with a shadow-gap detail, giving the room a cleaner, more contemporary look. New internal doors and painting and decorating throughout completed the renovation.
